Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood, for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child’s soul.
— Friedrich Froebel

Children experience stress in their own unique ways. Often, children do not have the language to express what is going on with them, and instead act out through anger, tantrums, arguments, or moodiness. Trauma and loss can be especially challenging for children and adolescents. It can shape their behaviors and relationships.

If you are worried about your child's behaviors, I can help. I offer play therapy sessions where children are free to work out difficult feelings in a language they are comfortable with. I also offer parent support through parent and family sessions. I can help you understand your child's behaviors, and we can work together to tackle your family's most difficult problems in new and innovative ways.
